The Doctoral Program in Electrical Engineering, founded in 1993, is currently the only doctoral program managed by the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DEIE). This program aims to become a highly respected education and research institution in electrical and information engineering.
At the moment, our doctoral program is one of the most competitive Ph.D. programs in the UGM Faculty of Engineering, attracting many national and international students every year. Typically it requires three years to complete, and during this period, the department offers various supports, which enable students to carry out a very specific research topic.
