The new Chair Pratikno in his remarks said the Board authorities had been mostly carried out, but there are still some homework to do. “The homework for the Board now is not only to carry out the authorities to monitor and evaluate, but also help resolve problems that affect the university,” he said.
According to Pratikno, currently the Board had to help sort out bureaucratisation in the university. If this is solved, researchers and academics can focus on their research without being bothered by administrative work. Pratikno proposed a work division by forming two committees, being internal and external committees. The internal committee will manage matters related to internal affairs while the external one on external affairs.
“We’d like to ask for help from all attendees here to assist us so that the programme that we have devised already can be achieved,” he said.
