“The CGS focuses on the development of leadership among young people,” she said on Monday (3/10).
In the second year, recipients will join leadership training globally along with others from Brazil, China, India, USA and Rusia, to be conducted in Minneapolis, U.S.A.
Separately, Vice-Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of Faculty of Biology UGM, Dr. Budi Setiadi Daryono, M.Agr.Sc., hoped through the CGS programme, scholarship recipients would be able to establish global networking.
“Hopefully, the CGS would be able to increase student’s critical thinking and equip them with skills to be future leaders of Indonesia,” Budi concluded.
