UGM and loval government of Blora regency have established cooperation in education, research, and community service. Signing of the cooperation agreement was done on Friday (17/3) by UGM Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Alumni, Dr. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M and Blora Regent, Djoko Nugroho.
Paripurna in his speech said UGM was open to cooperation with any region, including Blora. Paripurna said animal husbandry and agricultural sectors were open for cooperation development by UGM and Blora.
“UGM is open and available any time for Blora, especially for animal husbandry and agricultural sectors,” said Paripurna.
Dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA, added that development of integrated farming was suitable for Blora. He is optimistic that mutual synergy that involves lecturers and researchers from UGM would optimise the sectors of animal husbandry and agriculture in Blora.
“We also have the Bengkel Ternak (cattle workshop) programme. I believe a good synergy will be established well,” said Ali.
Regent of Blora, Djoko Nugroho, said he was happy with the cooperation, hoping the cooperation would flourish into more areas.
