In this event which was participated by 23 countries, students team from UGM contains Dhiana Ayu Novitasari and Fitri Ramadhinta from FKKMK, Rizqy Anita Putri from FISIPOL, Joko Triyanto and Mokh. Rif’an Ardiansyah from FMIPA created innovation entitled Planify. The application which was designed by these five students intended to help teenagers to deal with a quarter-life crisis.
“This application development idea starts from our restlessness seeing not a few teenagers facing a quarter-life crisis. This case inspired us to think up to the idea of helping teenagers who mostly prone to fall on the quarter-life crisis,” Dhiana explained on Thursday (6/2).
Dhiana delivered Planify has four main features, which are consultation, member discussion, seminar, book recommendation, and life plans. This consultation feature connects users with an expert consultant. Through this feature, users can freely choose a consultant according to the fields they need and it will have proceeded to the personal chat consultation.
Next, the member discussion feature connects users in a particularly suitable group to have a discussion together. Then, the seminar feature and book recommendation provide information related to the seminar and some supporting books. Last, life plans designed feature which provides room to arrange life plan target in the future.
“So, there are to-do lists to be done and reminders for it,” she explained.
In this current situation, planify is still in the shape of the prototype, however, it can be targeted to be released as soon as possible. Therefore, it can be an alternative solution to help teenagers dealing with a quarter-life crisis with precise accompaniment.
