UGM’s status remains a State-Owned Legal Entity related to the cancellation of Educational Legal Entity Law by Constitutional Court. Therefore, while awaiting new regulations from the Government, UGM will still run all plans and duties as a State-Owned Legal Entity. The confirmation was delivered by Senior Vice Rector, Administrative, Finance, and Human Resources Development, Prof. Ainun Na’im, M.B.A., Ph.D, on Friday (16/4), inaugurating nine new UGM officials. He said that relating to administrative and responsibility system improvement, UGM will still implement it and be responsible to the public and the Government. “So we are still a State-Owned Legal Entity and we will complete all our plans and duties. Relating to that, various improvements would be made, and they are relevant with the new officials’ duty and responsibility,†he explained in Multimedia Room in his opening speech.
Meanwhile, related to the implementation of the new Public Information Transparency Law, Ainun explained that it really influences UGM’s stance to the public. Because with that Law, people can demand various information they need of UGM. “We should give that information, but this is not related to that Law. Therefore, we would consider the Law including its explanation, and the University will certainly make regulations dealing with the Law in order to be able to give correct information to the public,†he explained.
To the new officials, Ainun said that UGM is making many improvements related to human resource, traffic and parking systems. Various improvements are made to maintain order, safety, comfort, and peace. UGM parking system will be managed better, uniting the Directorate of Assets, Security Unit and the management team, The three units will design a parking system based on UGM cluster. “Related to this, we need the support from the new officials,†he expected.
Meanwhile, to improve institutional competence on responsibility, budgeting and accounting, UGM Directorate of Finance will immediately conduct training.
The inauguration ceremony of the new officials was started with the reading of the Letter of Appointment by Head of Career Development, Directorate of Human Resource, Bambang Dwisuko Widodo, S.Mn., and continued with oath-taking and the signing of the Letter.
The nine new officials were Agus Hartono, S.E., M.Ec. Dev (Head of Office of Administrative and Domestic Affairs, University Leadership Office), Lisdiyani, S.H., M.Pd (Head of Administrative Office of Graduate School), Sujawal, S. Mn (Head of Finance and General Affairs Section, Faculty of Geography) and Ismi Mulandari, S.E (Head of Office Affairs, Administrative and General Affairs sub-section). Also inaugurated were Rohman Diansyah, S.T (Head of Cooperation, Alumni and Business Section, Directorate of Planning and Development), Aminudin Arhab, S.IP (Head of Working Safety and Health Section, Directorate of Asset Management and Maintenance), Sulistyo Mardiatmoko, S.T., M.Eng (Head of Order and Parking Management Section, Directorate of Asset Management and Maintenance), Hardiyana, B.E (Head of Finance and General Affairs Section, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), and Mulyanto, S.T (Head of Social Budgeting Section, Directorate of Finance). Attending the event were UGM Deans, Executive Secretary, Directors and other officials.
