Planting rice in rotation or alternating with other crops or varieties, as well as the use of natural insecticides, such as Mimba leaves and seeds of sugar apple, can be done.
"Spraying insecticides must also be timely because it could kill "natural insecticides" that already exist, such as spider, ladybird and parasitoid," said one of the Chiefs of Plant Protection Commission.
