Not only that, the Netherlands and other developed countries in Europe are in shortage of nurses. "We will support if there are graduates wanting to become ‘ambassador’ of the nation abroad," said Ghufron.
If there are graduates not interested, Ghufron understands it, because they are still much needed in various areas, although there are many nursing graduates following the establishment of several institutions of nursing education. "Currently, more than 300 new health schools are stablished," he said.
However, Ghufron is certain that graduates from UGM have very good competence in providing health services for the community. To the new nurses, Ghufron hoped they can work and serve to maintain the excellent name of the University. "The real learning is when we serve the community. We also do not want the alumni to get problems associated with their profession," he said.
