In the competition this time, debating model imitates the pattern of the Australian parliamentary system. This model makes each team argue with each other according to the themes that have been determined. In the debate, two teams facing each other, one acts as government in charge of maintaining the truth and the other is the opposition which seeks as much as possible contrary facts to confirm the weakness of the government’s facts.
The debating competition of International Humanitarian Law is an annual competition held by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in cooperation with the entire colleges which have International Relations Department. It is held regularly since year 2008. This competition is intended to promote substance of international humanitarian law in the international scope.
