As many as 276 UGM students joined Student Community Service programme (KKN-PPM). Deputy Chairman of UGM Institute for Community Service, Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D, explained the KKN-PPM this time has several themes, including Natural Resources Management, Community Health, Agricultural Production, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Forestry. There are six international students from Australia and Germany joining the programme.
They will start the program on 11 April until 30 May 2014 in 3 provinces (Yogyakarta, South East Sulawesi) and East Java.
Chairman of LPPM UGM, also Vice Rector for Research and Community Service, Prof. Dr. Suratman, M.Sc, in his remarks hopes that the students are able to deliver UGM mission, which is to dedicate themselves to society.
