As a highly anticipated activity, especially during exam periods, the UGM Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol UGM) offers free breakfast for its students.
This initiative, known as Fisipol Free Breakfast, is a regular agenda at Fisipol UGM, where the faculty provides morning meals to care for students undergoing semester exams.
This practice aims to ensure that students receive adequate nutrition. Many students become so focused on their exams that they skip breakfast.
Proper nutrition at breakfast can aid in clear thinking, which is essential when taking exams on an empty stomach. The free breakfast is available every morning during the midterm and final exams at the Fisipol campus.
The food and beverages vary, with a different daily menu that ensures balanced nutrition. The menu includes rice with side dishes, vegetables, and milk.
This time, the Fisipol Free Breakfast is prepared every day at 6:30 AM at the East Hall of Fisipol UGM during this semester’s midterm exam period, from Monday, April 22, until April 26, 2024. Students can take the breakfast menu after signing in at the pickup table.
This regular agenda at Fisipol aligns with UGM’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
The hope is that students can focus better and perform optimally on their exams with a full stomach without skipping breakfast.
