Biomedical Engineering is one of the three undergraduate programs managed by the UGM Department of Electrical and Information Engineering (DEIE). It is the youngest program in DEIE following its recent establishment in 2019. Our program deploys engineering principles for healthcare purposes and is an interdisciplinary field, mostly between engineering, medicine, and biology.
Biomedical Engineering welcomes approximately 40 new students each year. We provide a favorable and supportive environment for students, including competent staff and good facilities, to develop and extend their essential engineering skills. We currently collaborate closely with many partners, including the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing UGM.
