Graduates of this study program are able to manage ecosystems sustainably from ecological, social, economic and political aspects; master the concept of intensive silvicultural technology which includes the development and maintenance of forest ecosystems, genetic engineering and growth sites as well as forest protection; master the basis and application of forest products technology; and master the techniques of preserving forest resources to protect, preserve and make use of them sustainably.
Graduates of this study program can have careers in government institutions (Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Finance, Local Governments). They can also work for either state-owned or private companies, consulting bureaus, NGOs, universities, forestry and timber industry research institutions.
