Graduates of this study program are skillful in conducting physical and laboratory examinations, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of animal diseases and/or diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans or vice versa. Graduates also master the management of prescription writing, formulation of animal nutrition, cultivation, increase of production, as well as conversion and utilization of animals for human and environmental welfare.
Graduates of this study program can have careers in government institutions including Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesian National Army, Indonesian National Police, and state-owned enterprises. They can also work in private institutions as researchers and veterinary practices.
