Graduates of this study program have professional abilities as dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental therapists, and dental health educators. In addition, they also have skills in the field of dental nursing management, ability to work in teams to solve health/dental/oral health problems, and moral responsibilities as well as ethics in carrying out their professions so that they can have healthy competition at local and regional level.
Graduates of this study program can have careers as family or private dentist and dental nurses in hospitals, public health centers, community health clinics, and in departments ranging from sub-district to national scope. They can also work in rehabilitation institutions, education and research fields, as well as health facilities. They can also continue their education to master and doctoral degree in a relevant field either inside or outside the country.
