Dr. Pramaditya Wicaksono has made history at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) as the youngest professor to be appointed by the university at the age of 35 and 11 months.

UGM Faculty of Geography Discusses SDGs, Reveals Indonesia’s Potential to Become World Maritime Axis
As a maritime nation, Indonesia has substantial natural resources potential to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the Sustainable Development Goals Seminar Series #92, maritime experts from the government, the United Nations, and academics gathered on Monday (August 21) to discuss these matters.
The plan for relocating the capital city to Kalimantan Island was announced by President Joko Widodo back in 2019. The construction has been ongoing, and the new capital, Nusantara, was officially inaugurated in Sepaku, Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan Province.

The UGM Faculty of Geography, through the Department of Development Geography, ignited a discussion on the sustainability of marine ecosystems themed “Seagrass as a Nature-based Solution for Achieving SDGs Targets” in the 90th SDGs Seminar Series held on Wednesday, June 28.
