Geography, as in British dictionary is defined as the study of the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected by these. It includes; spatial, ecological, and regional complex approaches, geography become a holistic and dynamic science. Nowadays, environmental problem such as natural disaster has become the main issue that around the world should be recognized.
Natural disasters mostly cannot be avoided, but Geography has the answer to reduce the risks. Recently, most people really concern about the climate change. One of the causes of climate change is global warming, that usually called as greenhouse effects. The glass in greenhouse keeps the heat from the sun to make the greenhouse always warm. On the other hand, greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide do the same. Usually the heat from the sun warmth the earth, and then goes back up into space. Now, the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is so immense that they prevent the sun’s heat. It causes the earth’s temperature to rise and rise again.
