The Master’s Program in Tropical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK), Universitas Gadjah Mada, is currently accredited “Excellent” (Unggul) by the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes), with accreditation valid through December 2030. This accreditation status was granted based on LAM-PTKes Decree No. 0862/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Mag/VII/2025.

One of the program’s distinctive strengths is its Health Entomology concentration, which is the only master’s-level concentration of its kind in Indonesia. The concentration focuses on the study of interactions between humans and animals, particularly in relation to health and tropical diseases.
