The 9th International Graduate Students and Scholars’ Conference in Indonesia (IGSSCI )

In the second decade of the 21st century, challenges are confronting our planet in ways that threaten the survival of both ecosystems and human societies. Natural and social lives today are both under stress and the planet is in danger. Calls for “global ethics for global problems” have come from theologians, ethicists, scientists, and political leaders from around the world, but bringing these voices together to influence politics, policy making, and public awareness remains a test for all involved. 

This Conference calls on scholars and activists from diverse disciplines and fields of study to respond to these challenges. It seeks to continue and empower these voices through interdisciplinary studies and engagements in order to link natural, social and spiritual crises into holistic solutions to sustain the planet. The conference specifically invites, but is not limited to, graduate students and scholars from the following fields of study:
