Information and technologies are the topmost key point of our lives for spreading, accessing, sharing, and gathering information around the globe within no time. On the other hand, Biodiversity also plays an important role for all organisms including human being to be survived in this earth. It is the fact that biodiversity is exceptionally important for human. It also has significances from influencing local culture to the economic development of a country.
Since the beginning, human bounds with its natural surroundings. Our acts leave footprints on nature, which consequently affect biodiversity. The biodiversity loss has a devastating impact on life on earth. Countless researches and evidence suggest that biodiversity should be treated as humanity legacy and not as assets. Considering the importance of biodiversity, many researchers raise an issue on the increase of biodiversity loss.
The ICBS has facilitated an international meeting on biodiversity since 2009. In this sixth conference, we continue the tradition of uniting the spirit of science with the endeavor of scientists. By providing media of communication between scientists, consequently, it is the best mean for strengthening biodiversity knowledge and for promoting environmental sustainability. This conference aims to promote the scientific communities and to exchange experience and knowledge, as well as using the lessons learned here to inform public and policymaker and to encourage better and more sustainable lives.
