Department of Politics and Government in collaboration with Revenue Watch Institute (RWI) and USAID, will conduct a training course “Improving The Governance of Extractive Industries” as part of Knowledge Hub activities. The training will be held on September, 2-13, 2013 in Faculty of Social and Political Science and will be facilitated by expert facilitators and resource person discussion on five issues in extractive industries like socio-environmental impacts; revenue management; tax, royalty, and contract terms; coalition for reforms; expanding disclosure requirements of EITI. We expect participants from various background such as CSO activist, EITI country members, National Oil Company (NOC), Observer status for International Oil Company (IOC), Government Officials, and Business practitioners to join this training.
