After gaining international accreditation AACSB in 2014, Faculty of Economics and Business UGM will keep improving quality and will contribute more to education. To realise these goals, the Faculty cooperates with various leading universities in the world.
“Faculty of Economics and Business UGM is collaborating with University of California, Berkeley, to improve our quality,” said Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Wihana Kirana Jaya, M.Soc.Sc., Ph.D, on Wednesday (21/10).
The collaborations are with three units of the U.S. University, namely Haas School of Business, Skydeck, and CEGA. A collaboration with Haas School of Business will include a programme that is more specifically towards executive development program.
The collaboration with Skydeck will help accelerate the development of technology, science and startup business. Skydeck helps give access to discoveries in technology and science from various sources.
“Faculty of Economics and Business UGM has established cooperation with Faculty of Engineering that is more reliable in technology, so complying with the collaboration between the Faculty and Skydeck,” Wihana added.
The collaboration with CEGA in research is expected to generate researches that can contribute to the countrys’s problem solving.
These collaborations are expected to improve quality and network of the Faculty in its bid to become the best economic and business school in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
