Universitas Gadjah Mada proudly presents the ONE HEALTH UGM 2026 International Summer Course, a transdisciplinary program addressing emerging and re-emerging diseases through the One Health approach. The program is open to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from Indonesia and around the world.
The program will be conducted in a hybrid format on:
Date: June 15–20, 2026
Location: Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Credits: 3 credits / 135 learning hours
This program brings together experts from various disciplines to discuss global health issues, including zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and climate-driven outbreaks. Participants will also gain field experience through visits to locations representing the interaction between humans, animals, and the environment.
Program highlights include:
- Interactive lectures and panel discussions
- Facilitated daily reflections
- Field visits on wildlife and forest interface, as well as integrated surveillance
- Mini projects and cross-cultural experiences in Yogyakarta
The program covers several sub-themes, including:
- One Health Surveillance
- Human and Animal Health
- Digital Innovation
- Policy and Preparedness
Participation in the program is free of charge. Participants who complete the program will receive an e-certificate and academic transcript.
