Graduates of this study program are experts in conducting physical and laboratory examinations, animal health diagnosis, investigation, prevention and treatment of animal diseases, including those that can be transmitted to humans or vice versa (zoonoses) and guaranteeing the safety of animal products (food and nonfood). Our graduates also master the management skills of animal care, animal nutrition preparation, and are able to increase the production and reproduction of animals, prescribe animal medicines, and conserve wildlife. These sets of competences are the features of our veterinarians in improving human welfare through animal health while paying attention to the environmental quality.
These qualities are achieved by our students after they have learned the basic sciences of veterinary medicine (anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, animal welfare), pre-clinical sciences (bacteriology, virology, immunology, parasitology, mycology, pharmacology, radiology pathology, legislation, feed science), clinical sciences and population health (small animal diseases, big animal diseases, surgery, reproduction and obstetrics, veterinary public health, epidemiology, and veterinary economics).

They are able to work in government institutions (such as Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Research and Higher Education, research institutions, the military and police, and animal health agencies/centers in provinces or districts), livestock industries (national, multinational, and state-owned), animal conservation institutions, and animal clinics/hospitals either in the country or abroad. They can also work as independent veterinarians at their homes.
