Registration of University Admission National Selection (SNMPTN) will be closed on Monday, March 6th 2017 at 10.00 p.m. Head of Public Relations and Protocol of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Dr. Iva Ariani, said students of high school/vocational school/Islamic school who have yet to register can do registration before the deadline. Iva reminded applicants that the selection process will be carried out for students who have completed their registrations.
“Therefore, for students who have filled school and student personal data (PDSS) can register as soon as possible until Monday at 10.00 p.m.,” said Iva on Sunday (5/3).
She said SNMPTN timeline began since January 14, started by admission filling and Schools and Students Database verification, while the registration period started since February 21. The government bears the cost of SNMPTN, therefore, there is no charge for the admission.
This year, four universities in Yogyakarta, they are Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga, and Universitas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) Veteran provide fresh students quota as many as 6,627 students, 2,320 students, 3,372 students, and 4,656 students, respectively. These quota will be divided into 3 kinds of admission with details of 30% for SNMPTN, 40% for SBMPTN, and 30% for University Written Test (UM).
After registration period until Monday, March 6 at 10.00 p.m., the next process is participant ID card printing, starting from March 14 until April 14 2017, selection process from March 15 until April 15, and final announcement on April 26. Then, participant document verification process or re-registration in each university for students who pass the admission will be held on May 16, 2017.
