As many as 1,487 staff from Universitas Gadjah Mada took the oath as UGM staff on Thursday (2/11) in the Koesnadi Hardjasoemantri Cultural Centre (PKKH) UGM.
Those staff include 660 civil servants and 827 permanent non-civil servants who are teaching and non-teaching staff at all offices of UGM.
“We hope the staff can understand the oath that they have just taken, complying with Pancasila and State Guidelines of UUD 1945, regulations, also to be honest,” said Vice-Rector for Human Resource and Assets, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Agus Kironoto, telling the civil servants.
He further asked the 827 non civil-servants that conducted the oath taking separately in the same place. He asked both of them to work more optimally in order that they can advance UGM together.
