Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held a creative content competition with a stay-at-home theme that is intended for academicians and the general public.
Through the contest, both UGM academicians and the public can send their stories about experiences at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides, people were also encouraged to share how to live a healthy lifestyle while at home. For example, sunbathing, sports at home, washing hands, eating healthy food, and others.
Head of UGM Public Relations and Protocol, Dr. Iva Ariani, said that the creative contest was aimed at filling time and overcoming boredom when undergoing physical distancing at home or at boarding.
“Besides that, through this creative content contest to explore creativity and knowledge about COVID-19 so that academics and the general public can become COVID-19 ambassadors for their environment,” she explained on Wednesday (8/4).
Creative content contests divided into four categories, namely writing, memes, vlogs, and posters. Also, a healthy lifestyle contest carried out at your own house that can be embodied in the form of pictures and videos.
This contest is fighting for prizes of tens of millions of rupiah. The terms and conditions for the creative content contest can be seen in more detail on the UGM Instagram account at @ugm.yogyakarta and FB Universitas Gadjah Mada.
While the deadline for uploading file categories for writing, poster, meme, and a vlog is April 30, 2020. On the other hand, the deadline for uploading the healthy lifestyle content contest is April 15, 2020.
“Announcement of the winners of each competition will be posted on Instagram, FB, and DM stories,” she explained.
