Around 700 business school deans attended the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) conference, which was held in Las Vegas, United States, from Feb. 3 to 5.
This conference served as a strategic platform for business school deans to discuss challenges and opportunities in global business education.
The conference’s theme, “Driving Change in Business Education,” highlighted the crucial role of business schools in preparing future leaders amidst technological disruption and geopolitical changes.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), Professor Didi Achjari, who participated in the AACSB Deans Conference 2025, revealed some key issues discussed, including the impact of disruptive technologies, shifting geopolitics, the role of business in society, and the future of the workforce.
“A key focus was on the impact of Artificial Intelligence in business schools and the role of business schools in driving and implementing sustainability,” he said at FEB UGM on Wednesday (Feb. 12).
Professor Achjari stated that FEB UGM’s participation in this conference emphasizes its position within the global network of business schools committed to innovation in business education.
As an institution accredited by AACSB since 2014, FEB UGM continues to strive to improve academic standards, strengthen international collaborations, and equip students with the relevant skills to face the dynamic challenges of the workforce.
According to him, FEB UGM’s participation in this conference represents its commitment to enhancing the quality of education and research at FEB UGM.
Furthermore, this conference allows FEB UGM to expand its network with leading business institutions, share best practices, and strengthen its position in the global business arena.
