Speaking to 605 new undergraduate students, Professor Achjari emphasized that the UKT scholarships demonstrate FEB UGM’s commitment to providing quality education to students across Indonesia.
“50.12 percent of you have received UKT scholarships, and 13.32% of those received the UKT 0 scholarship. This is a remarkable achievement and proof of FEB UGM’s commitment to providing equitable and quality education access to all segments of society,” the dean stated.

“FEB UGM is committed to offering equitable education access to the community, including those with economic, social, or geographical vulnerabilities, as part of our effort to realize fair and equal education,” he said.
Professor Achjari added that by offering equal opportunities to everyone, FEB UGM aims to build a more just and prosperous society by providing the chance to pursue higher education, thus creating a better future for all the nation’s children.
On this occasion, FEB UGM also acknowledged the 49.89 percent of parents of new students who are financially capable and fully fund their children’s education without UKT scholarships.
“The full support of these parents not only brings pride but also significantly contributes to the realization of excellent and quality education at FEB UGM,” he said.
Professor Achjari stated that FEB UGM is committed to nurturing future leaders in economics and business, focusing on sustainability. With a constantly updated, future-oriented curriculum and the support of competent faculty, he is confident that FEB UGM can produce graduates who are not only intellectually smart but also possess high integrity and social awareness.
