The Corps of Employees of Universitas Gadjah Mada (Korpagama) held an event on Friday (Mar. 21) at the Korpagama office, Bulaksumur B6, to present 20 retired UGM employees with retirement certificates and solidarity gifts.
The Chair of Korpagama, Professor Ahmadi Priyatmojo, handed out the retirement certificates one by one. In addition to the certificates, employees who had reached the end of their service received a solidarity fund as a token of UGM’s appreciation for their retirement.
He said that presenting certificates of appreciation to Korpagama employees is a routine monthly event.
Korpagama operates with the vision of enhancing performance and managing UGM employees’ welfare after retirement.
“We hope that Korpagama can benefit both lecturers and staff,” Professor Priyatmojo said.
On this occasion, he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all retiring employees who had dedicated their time to serving Universitas Gadjah Mada.
He hoped that they would spend more time with their families after their retirement.
“Congratulations on entering retirement; may you find happiness with your family,” Professor Priyatmojo said.
One of the retired employees, Bambang Herumanto, shared his testimony and impressions as a member of Korpagama.
He thanked Universitas Gadjah Mada for providing the Korpagama corps and nurturing its employees through it.
Through Korpagama, employees can organize and benefit from the organization. He recalled that when he first worked at UGM, no employee corps consistently supported its members.
“I would also like to thank the Korpagama management for their immense care for us, always looking after members when they face difficulties,” he said.
