The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas, Suharso Manoarfa, visited the UGM Vocational College (SV UGM).
The visit, which took place at SV UGM’s Teaching Industry Learning Center (TILC) building, was welcomed by the Dean of SV UGM, Professor Agus Maryono, and Dr. Anggito Abimanyu.
Suharso Manoarfa’s visit was to launch the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) “SIAGA” application for Public Infrastructure Projects.
This application is one of the outputs of the Matching Fund program led by Dr. Anggito Abimanyu.
The GRC “SIAGA” application, funded by Bappenas, represents the latest innovation in GRC. It is designed to enhance governance, risk management, and compliance in program and project planning for educational institutions and other organizations.
During his visit, the minister expressed his appreciation for the innovative steps taken by SV UGM.
He noted that the Vocational College’s actions demonstrate its preparedness to face future challenges and actively contribute to developing governance-based technology in Indonesia.
“With the implementation of the SIAGA application, SV UGM shows how educational institutions can lead change and set an example in applying governance technology to achieve better development goals,” said Minister Manoarfa on Friday (Aug. 23).
Dean Maryono stated that SV UGM is the first educational institution in Indonesia to design this application.
This design demonstrates a solid commitment to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of program planning and execution.
“We all hope that in the future, the SIAGA application can be expanded and developed for other sectors, such as tourism,” he added.
After the discussion, the minister visited the Applied Master’s Program in Occupational Safety and Health lecture room and the Center for Excellence in Culture and Tourism in the Teaching Industry Learning Center building of SV UGM.
