The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM), is a graduate-level business school offering an MBA degree. The program is designed to cultivate strategic business leaders who are ethical, visionary, and broad-minded.
With a high-quality learning system, faculty comprising doctoral degree holders, professors, and professional practitioners, a dynamic curriculum, comprehensive learning facilities, and a selective admission process, MBA FEB UGM stands as the only business school in Indonesia accredited internationally by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
The program has also proudly earned an “Excellent” rating from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA).
“We are grateful that MBA FEB UGM is now accredited internationally by AACSB and has achieved an Excellent rating from LAMEMBA,” said Professor Amin Wibowo, Head of the MBA program, in a statement to reporters on Friday (Aug. 15).
Professor Wibowo explained that the MBA program requires four semesters (two years) of study. Its curriculum is uniquely structured around the concepts of Being, Knowing, and Doing, supported by the LEAP soft skills program to strengthen students’ professional careers.
Throughout their studies, students also take part in the Superior Immersion Program. The MBA FEB UGM curriculum is designed to integrate knowledge and experience, equipping students with the skills to contribute as global citizens.
In addition, students may choose from a range of minor concentrations, including finance, marketing, human resources and organizational management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and operations management.
Equally important, Professor Wibowo emphasized, MBA FEB UGM engages in global collaboration with 37 universities worldwide through double degree programs, student exchanges, and international academic exposure, supported by an extensive alumni network across both the private and public sectors.
“Students have the opportunity to earn double degrees and join exchange programs at prestigious business schools worldwide,” he said.
Beyond degree programs, MBA FEB UGM also conducts training, research, and publication initiatives.
These include the publication of five books addressing corporate management issues in Indonesia, as well as the facilitation of the International Business Journal, a peer-reviewed journal in economics and business accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology and indexed in Scopus, EBSCO, EconLit, Informait, and the Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, achieving a top-three ranking in the Scimago Journal & Country Rank.
These initiatives are further supported by strong academic and non-academic facilities and infrastructure.
More importantly, Professor Wibowo highlighted, MBA FEB UGM guarantees high-quality graduates who meet international standards, reflected in its strong partnerships with business schools worldwide.
“We aim to produce high-quality business leaders and professionals with strong global competitiveness,” he concluded.
