Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) held the second day of the Bachelor’s and Applied Bachelor’s Graduation Ceremony for the First Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. A total of 1,112 graduates participated in the second day of the ceremony, held at Grha Sabha Pramana on Wednesday (Nov. 26).
The graduates came from ten faculties: the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB UGM), Faculty of Biology (Biology UGM), Faculty of Forestry (Forestry UGM), Faculty of Dentistry (FKG UGM), Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing (FK-KMK UGM), Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB UGM), Faculty of Agriculture (Agriculture UGM), Faculty of Geography (Geography UGM), Faculty of Engineering (FT UGM), and Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP UGM).
Presiding over the ceremony, UGM Rector, Professor Ova Emilia, expressed her gratitude to all graduates for their achievements. She hoped that the degrees conferred would serve as a valuable beginning for graduates as they contribute to advancing national development.
The rector encouraged graduates, along with KAGAMA and UGM, to build collaborative networks and contribute to the university’s tri-dharma activities. She emphasized the importance of continuously improving one’s skills and competencies, as the knowledge and abilities gained would provide meaningful contributions to the development of science and to the sustainability of social life.
“With deep gratitude and pride, I pray that all UGM graduates of the Undergraduate and Applied Undergraduate programs who were conferred degrees today will become individuals of integrity, strong character, and competitiveness in facing future challenges,” she said.

Representing PP Kagama, Dr. Dwi Januanto Nugroho, an alumnus of the Forestry UGM class of 1994, stated that, together with the attainment of an academic degree, comes the expectation that graduates will embrace the spirit of mikir negoro (thinking for the nation). He noted that graduates are now entrusted with a responsibility one level higher than before.
“All graduates, and all of us, are expected to contribute value in every opportunity, in every role continuously, and with whatever we have, for the benefit of society, the nation, and the state,” he added.
In total, 2,152 graduates took part in the graduation ceremony, consisting of 1,729 Bachelor’s graduates, 423 Applied Bachelor’s graduates, and 17 graduates from the previous period.
The graduation took place over two days: the first day on Tuesday (Nov. 25), attended by 1,040 graduates, and the second day on Wednesday (Nov. 26), attended by 1,112 graduates. In this period, female graduates numbered 1,235 (57.39%), while male graduates numbered 917 (42.61%).
The average study duration for Undergraduate graduates was 4 years and 4 months, with the shortest completion time achieved by Trixi Karinina Dewi Sindhutomo from the Public Policy and Management Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol UGM), who completed her studies in 3 years and 27 days.

The average age of Undergraduate graduates was 22 years, 6 months, and 15 days, with the youngest graduate being Farras Ulinnuha from the Medical Education Program, FK-KMK UGM, who completed his degree at 19 years, 8 months, and 17 days.
The average cumulative GPA for Undergraduate graduates was 3.51. A total of 1,045 graduates, or 60.44%, earned the distinction of Cum Laude, 623 graduates, or 36.03%, earned Very Satisfactory, 36 graduates, or 2.08%, earned Satisfactory, and 25 graduates, or 1.45%, graduated without distinction.
The highest GPA in this period was achieved by Sania Nadlirotullubba from the Computer Science Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA UGM), with a GPA of 3.98 and a Cum Laude distinction.
Meanwhile, Applied Bachelor’s graduates had an average study duration of 4 years and 1 month, with the shortest completion time achieved by Prima Azha Tridayana from the Civil Construction Engineering Technology Program at the Vocational College (SV UGM), who completed his studies in 3 years, 11 months, and 1 day. The average age of Applied Bachelor’s graduates was 22 years, 6 months, and 15 days.
The youngest graduate in this category was Aji Bambang Sasongko from the Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology Program at SV UGM, who completed his studies at 20 years, 8 months, and 28 days old.
The average cumulative GPA for Applied Bachelor’s graduates was 3.64. A total of 139 graduates, or 32.86%, earned Cum Laude, 282 graduates, or 66.67%, earned Very Satisfactory, and two graduates, or 0.47%, graduated without distinction.
The highest GPA in this category was earned by Sukma Nurfadilah from the Health Information Management Program at SV UGM, with a GPA of 3.98 and a Cum Laude distinction.
