Of the 4,387 students accepted, 3,530 are for the bachelor’s degree program, and 857 are for the applied bachelor’s degree program.
“Congratulations to all the students who have been accepted to UGM through the UM-CBT. For those who have not been accepted, stay motivated to continue developing yourself, and you can try again next year or enroll in another university because education must go on,” said Professor Wening Udasmoro, vice-rector for education and teaching, on Thursday (13/7) at UGM.
The vice-rector mentioned that bachelor’s degrees in medicine, information technology, dentistry, and computer science are the four most selective exact science and technology programs.
The highest selectivity in the social sciences and humanities are the bachelor’s degrees in communication science, public policy and management, management, international relations, and psychology.
The applied bachelor’s degrees in science and technology with the highest selectivity include health information management, software engineering technology, civil infrastructure management and maintenance engineering, forest management, and civil construction engineering technology.
Meanwhile, archives and record information management, property management and appraisal, public sector accounting, regional economic development, and travel and tourism business are among the most selective for the applied bachelor’s degrees in social sciences and humanities.
Students declared successful in the selection must prepare and scan the demanded documents into PDF files for registration purposes.

They should then check the results of the registration document verification on their respective SIMASTER accounts and follow the subsequent procedures from July 24th to July 27th, 2023.
The UM-CBT is the final pathway for admission to UGM’s bachelor’s degree and applied bachelor’s degree programs.
