The Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) has developed a web-based application called SIDEK-ERP (Sistem Debit Kredit Enterprise Resource Planning).
This innovation aims to support digital transformation, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The SIDEK-ERP system is designed to simplify financial reporting and assist in integrating enterprise resource planning.
Dr. Fitri Amalia, coordinator of PKSI UGM, explained that SIDEK-ERP provides a comprehensive solution covering essential modules such as accounting, finance, sales, inventory, and procurement.
“SIDEK-ERP is designed to simplify financial data analysis, minimize recording errors, streamline bookkeeping, and help prepare financial reports easily, quickly, and reliably,” she said during the International Conference of Community Engagement and Exhibition 2024 at the UGM Innovation and Creativity Center (GIK UGM) on Tuesday (Dec. 10).
SIDEK-ERP is one of the leading innovations, and its societal impact was showcased during the event.
Since its launch in 2023, SIDEK-ERP has been adopted by nearly 1,000 users, including MSMEs, vocational high school students, and university students in regions such as Yogyakarta, Sleman, Surabaya, and Bandung.
The program is part of FEB UGM’s community engagement efforts to promote digitalization and operational efficiency for MSMEs in Indonesia.
“Currently, SIDEK-ERP has 984 users, consisting of 328 MSMEs, 600 students, and 56 SMK students,” explained the FEB UGM Accounting Department lecturer.
Dr. Amalia further detailed the SIDEK-ERP modules:
- Accounting Module: Designed to manage account lists and journals with high flexibility while integrating all accounting data from other modules. It includes features such as account lists, opening balances, journals, ledgers, reports, and configuration tools.
- Finance Module: Developed to comprehensively manage cash flow and ensure strategic and accurate financial decisions. This module includes cash management features.
- Procurement Module: This module simplifies the procurement of goods and services through organized systems for receiving goods and supplier payments. It includes discounts, taxes, supplier lists, and accounts payable tracking.
- Sales Module: This module supports the entire sales process, from order placement and shipping to billing and receivables tracking. Features include discounts, taxes, customer lists, and accounts receivable.
- Inventory Module: This module facilitates inventory tracking and stock management with optimal warehouse management features. It includes product categories, units, and product lists.
PKSI FEB UGM actively shares information through social media and training sessions to promote broader dissemination and utilization. The application can be accessed by registering through bit.ly/form-sidekerp.
Nasfa Yanti, CEO of Aisyah Craft and an MSME supported by FEB UGM, expressed her gratitude for the SIDEK-ERP platform. She stated that it significantly simplified her business operations, particularly in financial reporting.
“Previously, we manually used Excel for financial reporting. With SIDEK-ERP, financial reporting has become easier, and we can track incoming and outgoing stock,” she said.
