The Applied Bachelor Program in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology (TRIK) prepares students to become professionals in industrial instrumentation, control systems, automation, the Internet of Things (IoT), and applied digital technology. The curriculum is designed with a practice-oriented approach grounded in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), supported by applied learning laboratories, project-based learning, and industrial internships to equip students with competencies in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and integration of instrumentation and control systems across various industrial sectors.
Graduates of the program are awarded the Bachelor of Applied Engineering degree (S.Tr.T.) and possess competencies that meet the demands of national and global industries in the era of digital transformation and Industry 5.0. Career opportunities include the energy, manufacturing, industrial automation, digital technology, and applied research sectors in national and multinational companies as well as government institutions. In addition, graduates are well prepared to pursue higher education and develop technopreneurship in the field of instrumentation and control.
The Applied Bachelor Program in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology has been accredited as Excellent (“UNGGUL”) by LAM Teknik. The curriculum is also enriched by a Capita Selecta course that regularly invites industry practitioners and professionals from national and multinational companies to provide insights into technological developments, industrial practices, and current trends in instrumentation, automation, and digital technology.
