The discussion that was joined by various group was followed by a Group Discussion.
Aas explained the current condition of a new paradigm in science and health. According to the man, there is a paradigm shift that occurred in the modern era. The old paradigm considers science is discrete and empirical while tends to have a particular specialization. However, Aas stated that the paradigm of science turns out to be mutually connected; it becomes more progressive and tends to be holistic.
Aas also described the interconnection of science that occurs in the new paradigm. Science interconnection will support the personal development. Furthermore, Aas also explained how holistic health is developing. Holistic health is composed of consciousness, science, and health itself.
“These can be characterized by the discovery of nano healing and good particles,” said Aas.
Meanwhile, in his presentation Sutiman conveys the connection between nano science and traditional Indonesian herbal medicine. According to Sutiman, people tend to assume that herbal medicine does not meet the standard and unscientific while ignoring its complex natural elements. Sutiman said that current study of herbs only focuses on its active component.
