Through Career Days, ECC facilitates companies that require a workforce with job seekers. Not only that, this events also means to measure their performance so far. These activities are also organized for the public, not only for UGM graduates, but other universities as well.
“Through Career Days UGM also wants to provide an opportunity for graduates from other universities so that they also have the opportunity to find a job. This is consistent with the philosophy of UGM as a water tower, not only in science but also in terms of usefulness,” he explained.
The composition of corporate exhibitors this year is dominated by companies from four major sectors, namely banking and finance (20%), supply chain (19%), as well as information technology sector and infrastructure sector (16% respectively). Thus, the company can come to us and explain as to what workforce they need. For job seekers, we also want to be a partner. They can come to us for consultation and we will give guidance on how to get a job that matches their interests,” he added.
