Marsudi mentioned that starting from academic year 2008/2009 Faculty of Law has implemented a problem based learning (PBL) method in the student learning system. This method is proved to encourage students to be more active, creative and be able to support the creation of quality assurance optimally. The development of the method is implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Legal Education in Support of Good Governance.
"Faculty of Law UGM also provides career service (Law Career Development Center) which is expected to be a solution for students to have a description of the direction of career goals from the beginning,” he added.
To realize the vision of Faculty of Law as an international research faculty, it has built a network of cooperation with 44 domestic institutions and 19 foreign institutions. The cooperation is built in order to improve the quality of human resources, financial and program planning, teaching and development of law science.

"The number increased by 1,333 titles or 2,042 copies. However, the number is certainly far from the need so that the collection will be increased continuously," he explained.
Meanwhile, to enhance the professionalism of human resources in the field of teaching, the Faculty encourages and facilitates the lecturers for further studies, providing scholarship assistance gradually, giving funding assistance to attend seminars, workshops, trainings and other scientific activities in Indonesia and abroad. With the policy, by the end of 2011 as many as 21 lecturers had taken up studies – 18 in doctoral program both in Indonesia and abroad and 3 in master program in Indonesia.
