UGM Student Choir class of 40 presents a premiere concert entitled Journey to Remember. The concert will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Auditorium of Faculty of Medicine starting at 19:00.
Punika Chintatya Hawa, PR of the group, delivers that this inaugural concert is a forum to show off the vocal skills of its members. This show is expected to provide entertainment to members of UGM academic community and the wider community.
In the concert, they will present 15 songs with Albert Wishnu as the conductor. As for the songs to be presented, these include Un Cavalier in Spagna, Amicus Meus, Come Again! Sweet Love With You, Santa Maria, Because He Lives, Melati Suci, Ibu Kita Kartini, Halleluja, and Badminton. "They will sing at least 15 songs with Albert Wishnu as the conductor," she said at UGM student centre on Wednesday (30/3).
PSM UGM is one unit of student activity within the UGM in vocals. This Student Activity Unit became creative means for UGM students who have the interest in singing. Since its establishment on September 11, 1971 until now, it has actively appeared in a variety of UGM ceremonial events and aslo activities outside the UGM. Currently, there are about 60 students who joined it as a singer, pianist, and production crew.
