We are pleased to announce the 5th Indonesia Tuberculosis International Meeting (INA-TIME), hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada. With the optimism of “Stepping up research to end TB, Together we can!”, this conference will provide a platform for experts, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world to share their experiences, ideas, and best practices for preventing and treating tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia.
Ultimately, the INA-TIME conference aims to encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange among stakeholders in TB research and management. By focusing on the latest research, best practices, and innovative approaches to TB prevention and treatment, the conference hopes to contribute to the global effort to end TB.
Call for abstracts
Theme:
1. TB prevention: This topic will address the innovative strategies for preventing the spread of TB, including identifying high-risk populations, implementing effective measures for infection control, and TB education, communication, and counseling strategies.
2. Clinical management of TB: Including but not limited to TB treatment, development new drugs and diagnostics, as well as the challenges of managing drug-resistant TB and co-infections with other diseases.
3. TB and comorbidities: This topic will examine the linkages between TB and other non-communicable diseases, including mental health, nutrition, tobacco, and diabetes mellitus. Exploring the impact of these comorbidities on TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, and the best approaches for managing patients with multiple conditions.
“Call for Crowdsourcing for TB Elimination: Overcoming Challenges with Innovative Solutions”
We are searching for implemented solutions that enhance the healthcare delivery in the context of tuberculosis, including public health programs, startups, research initiatives, social entrepreneurship endeavors, and grassroots movements. However, it’s important to note that our focus does not include technology advancements or the development of new drugs.
