Progress in research and inventions in the field of pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences is dynamic and rapidly improving. Pharmacists as a health professional are facing a significant role change in health services and healthcare policy. On the other hand, the advanced research in pharmaceutical sciences has resulted in numerous pharmaceutical products and technologies to contribute a better life for all human beings. A scientific meeting to bring together worldwide experts to discuss the latest trends and challenges in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences is consequently necessary.
To facilitate the experts meeting and sharing knowledge among the pharmacists, Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Gadjah Mada will hold The 5th International Conference on Pharmacy and Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences (ICPAPS) 2017, with the theme: “Global Trend in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Research for Better Future”. The conference is held in collaboration with Vrije Universiteit the Netherlands, Universiteit Leiden the Netherlands, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) Japan and Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences Malaysia.
This year, the ICPAPS 2017 will collaborate with Timmerman Award. The Timmerman Award is a biannual event designed by PERAKMI to recognize and highlight young scientists working on medicinal chemistry and having made a significant contribution to the advancement of medicinal chemistry knowledge in Indonesia. Three winners will be selected; their achievements will be celebrated at the ICPAPS 2017 and awarded a prize.
The conference aims to bring together researchers academia, college students, practitioners in health institutions and industries, policy makers in corresponding fields and community to exchange and share their experiences and research results about the whole related to pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
