As many as 28,603 people have participated in the written admission test at Universitas Gadjah Mada for 2015, which is held in four cities, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Balikpapan, and Pekanbaru.
Wijayanti, S.IP., M.Sc, UGM’s Head of Public Relations, alongside a visit to SMAN 9 Yogyakarta to observe the test on Sunday (15/6) said that the written test was the final admission test for the regular courses and the first batch for Vocational School.
Wijayanti also said, “The written test is organised in order that people can have bigger access to higher learning. We hope the best Indonesian students can pursue study at UGM.”
Of the 28,603 participants, 19,061 sit for natural sciences category, 8,195 for social sciences and 1,347 for a mix of both. Results will be announced on 15 July 2015. After that, the second batch admission for Vocational School and undergraduate international class will commence.
“Meanwhile, the undergraduate international class is only offered at Economics and Business, Law, Medicine, Maths and Natural Sciences, and Social and Political Sciences faculties,” said Wijayanti.
