UGM is the second winner in the National Scientific Week (PIMNAS) from 8-11 August 2016 at the Agricultural Institute of Bogor with a total of 9 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals from 6 categories. Brawijaya University became the first winner in this competition.
Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Iwan Dwiprahasto, M.Med.Sc.,Ph.D., appreciated the achievement. “I would like to thank all supervising lecturers, student affairs supporting staff and especially all the students that have fought hard in this competition,” he said alongside the closure of the event in the Graha Widya Wisuda IPB on Thursday (11/8).
The gold medal for UGM was from Ratih Sanggra on Written Idea, Yana Bintoro Priambodo in Exact Science Research, Bruno Fandi Adi Pratama and Dhiva Prima Adi also on Creation category. Furthermore, the gold medals were also brought by Yofrizal Alfi and Yoga Pamungkas on Community Service, Febrilian Dwi in Exact Science Research, Mokhammad Ardafillah on Socio-humanities research, and Titin Setiyani on entrepreneurship.
