Career Days UGM run from Saturday (27/8) to Sunday (28/8) in Grha Sabha Pramana hall at UGM. The Engineering Career Center (ECC) UGM presented over 60 domestic and international companies from banking, services, trade, information technology, health, energy, manufacture, media, construction, etc, that attracted thousands of visitors from various cities.
Facilities offered at the 20th Career Days UGM can be enjoyed by visitors just by showing their entry card. Kreshna, Brand and Communication of ECC UGM, said the benefit of joining this event was to know better of companies. For job seekers, this is important to determine their choice of work whether it suits them or not to prevent from future mistakes.
The job seekers submitted their CVs to the companies directly during the event in the booth of the targeted companies. Some companies also provided online application facilities in their booth.
Apart from providing information and career opportunites, 20th Career Days UGM also showcase presentations from five companies. Visitors had the chance to know these companies better and have a dialogue with them directly.
Visitors who have problems related to career are offered free counseling in career and health from psychologists and doctors from ECC UGM during the event. For refreshement, visitors can play games in the Careernews booth.
