UGM has accepted a cow sacrifice from the Mandiri Sharia Bank (BSM) on Friday (1/9). The handover of the cow sacrifice was done by Area Manager of the Bank of Yogyakarta, Sukma Dwie Priardi, to Rector of UGM, Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., after the Eid-ul-Adha prayers in the Pancasila square, Grha Sabha Pramana UGM.
Sukma Dwie Priardi said the momentum of the Eid this time was used by the Bank to make contributions to the welfare of the people of Yogyakarta.
“We hope this cow sacrifice can be utilised by the needy community,” he said.
Rector of UGM, Prof. Panut Mulyono, thanked the Bank for the sacrifice aid. The animal sacrifice will be managed by the sacrifice ritual committee in the Sekretariat Rumah Zakat Infak Shadaqah (RZIS) of UGM’s Mosque.
“We would like to extend our gratitude to Mandiri Sharia Bank. The cow sacrifice will be done by the sacrifice ritual committee of RZIS of UGM’s Mosque,” said Panut.
Also attending the event were Vice-Rector of Human Resource and Assets, Prof. Ir. Bambang Agus Kironoto, Pharmacy professor, Prof. Edy Meiyanto, and Executive Secretary, Gugup Kismono, Ph.D.
