It was stated by Dean of Faculty of Animal Sciences UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, D.A.A., D.E.A. during the opening of the free lecture on Saturday (16/9) at the faculty.

“Around 50% of Indonesian society are farmers. Therefore, it is better for the farmers to stay close to science source which is Faculty of Animal Sciences UGM. By studying at Faculty of Animal Sciences UGM, the breeders can obtain knowledge and technology which are suitable with their necessity. Without science, the business run by the breeders would not develop well,” said Ali.

“There are many business opportunities in animal husbandry sector considering the increase of Indonesian population.
