In 2018 UGM accepts 2,141 new students through the SNMPTN mechanism who are divided into Natural Sciences/Science-Technology category (1,535) and Socio-humanities (606).
“These students have been accepted by UGM due to their academic records at high school, competing with other 37,447 applicants of the SNMPTN at UGM,” said Vice-Rector for Education, Teaching, and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Djagal Wiseso Marseno, M.Agr., on Tuesday (17/4).
Djagal said for Natural Sciences/Science-Technology category of the SNMPTN mechanism at UGM, the most interest has been in Pharmacy, Medicine, and Computer study programme, for Socio-humanities, it is Management, Accounting, and Psychology. Study programme with high selectivity in Natural Sciences/Science-Technology is Computer science, Architecture and Medicine, for Socio-humanities: Management, Tourism, and Korean Language and Culture.
Djagal said after this, the students need to fill in their biodata on um.ugm.ac.id and upload prerequisite documents on 19 April 2018 from 10.00 hours up to 24 April 2018 at 10.00 hours.
The students also need to do Academic English Proficiency Test (AcEPT) on 8 May 2018 at UGM. Details can be seen through their accounts.
Those that do not upload data until 24 April 2018 at 10.00 hours are viewed as to have released their right as UGM student for 2018/2019 academic year.
