The Baitulmaal Food (B-Food) programme at UGM Vocational School was held on Saturday (9/6), hosted by Baitulmaal Muamalat group with 25 awardees of B-Smart scholarships.
B-Food programme is a charity done during Ramadan. It came in the form of basic necessities assistance worth Rp40 million for 100 disadvantaged people from Bantul, Kulon Progo, Gunung Kidul, and UGM surrounding areas such as Terban, Pogung, Karang Wuni, and Blimbingsari.
In his remarks, Dean of Vocational School, Wikan Sakarinto, Ph.D., and Branch Manager of Baitulmaal Muamalat, Sulistyanto, expected the programme would continue sustainably.
