UGM and Adisutjipto Yogyakarta Military Base have established a cooperation in research and student affairs.
Signing of the cooperation agreement between UGM and the Military Base was done on Tuesday (10/7) in the UGM conference room by Commander of the Military Base, Air Commodore Ir. Tedi Rizalihadi S.,M.M., and Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Alumni UGM, Dr. Paripurna, S.H., M.Hum., LL.M.
The areas of cooperation include research and development of unmanned aerial vehicles and rocket, student training, and asset utilisation of both sides.
Tedi said the cooperation was expected to enhance the previous cooperation. His office very much supports the activities done by UGM, especially historically both parties have formed synergies for a long time.
“Actually, the cooperation with UGM has run well, but that has not been put into an MoU. Hence, with the signing of this cooperation, implementation of research and student affairs will run optimally,” he said.
Paripurna shared the hopes, saying that UGM was ready to strengthen the cooperation with the Adisutjipto military base.
